Shadow Home Secretary David Davies
resigns over holding of British citizens without
charge
But, under laws introduced by
Napoleon, British citizens are held without trial in
stinking jails for months or even years in
France.
David Davies, Shadow Home
Secretary, today felt sufficiently strongly over
plans to hold British citizens for 42 days
without charge that he resigned.
It was huge news in the
media.
But, under laws introduced by Napoleon, British
citizens are held without trial in stinking jails
for months or even years in
France.
Which principled Member of our Parliament is
going to resign over that little-publicised
fact?
A new Campion book,
Day Trip to Hell, explains how, if the French police
suspect you, a British citizen, of a crime, they can hold
you for months or years without trial if they so
choose. And remember, over there, if the police say you did
something, you're guilty until you can prove you're innocent,
not the other way
around.
And...
a European Arrest Warrant can now be issued if they simply
suspect you. The British police have no option but to come and
drag you from your bed and send you over to France. Under
French Napoleonic law you can be held for months or even years
without
trial.
Read Day Trip to
Hell, then contact your MP and MEP today to ask them
when they're going to resign on your behalf over this travesty
of justice and complete abuse of your human
rights.
